To provide families of multiple births the opportunity to connect and engage within a supportive community. The outcome is to bring a sense of belonging, provide practical advice and resource and emotional support for raising multiples.
Nepean Multiple Birth Association (NMBA) is a not-for-profit organisation comprising of multiple birth families. The organisation provides support, resources and education to multiple birth families.
NMBA was formed in 1973 and is one of the 1st Multiple Birth Clubs to be formed in Australia. We are part of AMBA (Australian Multiple Birth Association) which comprises of clubs from across Australia. NMBA offer a supportive ear from “those who know”, however it is more than that: regular social interaction for those who feel isolated; whether it is home visits, a phone call, coffee mornings, playgroups, evenings out or weekends away; education at a local level such as expectant parent sessions or first-food introduction classes; breastfeeding support, equipment hire and, volunteer coordination and assistance. These services go a long way to help multiple birth families in raising their children born in very special circumstances.
NMBA is coordinated by a volunteer committee who are all members and therefore parents of multiples with busy lives. We endeavour to support our members in any way we can.
NMBA runs regular playgroups and many lifetime friendships have been formed from this. We also encourage child free meet ups where you can relax and share your journey with others who are travelling with you or have been where you are going.
Geographically NMBA covers a large are from Lithgow in the Blue Mountains to Blacktown in Sydney’s outer west and from Wiseman’s Ferry in the north to Campbelltown in the south.

Casey & District Multiple Birth Association Inc. (CDMBA) is a not-for-profit, non-commercial organisation that provides parent-to-parent support for multiple birth families. The support and assistance is provided in a number of ways to families with twins, triplets or more – from the antenatal stage through to schooling years and beyond.
CDMBA is active within the City of Casey and adjacent areas, including the City of Greater Dandenong and Cardinia Shire. The group also offers support to families in all areas of Gippsland. Expectant and new parents of twins, triplets and more are encouraged to contact CDMBA.

The Toowoomba and District Multiple Birth Association Inc. (TDMBA) helps you connect with local multiple birth families across the Darling Downs and south-west Queensland. The club also provides a range of services and connections to help support families along the way.
Ipswich Multiple Birth Association Inc (IMBA) was established in 1987 by local mums and dads of twins, triplets or more. Our Association covers the boundaries of Springfield to Gatton and encompasses Ipswich and its surrounding areas of Esk, Toogoolawah and Boonah.
As a non-profit volunteer-based organisation, our aims are to provide practical and emotional support, access to information, friendship and social functions. To allow an opportunity for parents to share their coping strategies and discuss events unique to their situation, through communicating and sharing of information on the care and raising of multiples.
IMBA also strives to improve the resources and information available to families of multiples and to increase the awareness of these needs in our society.
